"Human salvation lies in the hands of the creatively maladjusted."

- Martin Luther King, Jr.

The Creatively Maladjusted personality doesn't compulsively follow rules and do what it's told, with extraordinary results. This person could be described as passionate, outspoken, and of course, "unrealistic."

It is this personality's unwillingness to accept things as they are and their talent for seeing the world as it could be that makes them so unusual, inspirational, and vulnerable to social ridicule or even imprisonment.

"Business as usual" is not an option for this personality. They are antagonistic to authority figures and vitalizing to communities. They are radical lovers of justice. They act out of love for others.

At the risk of losing respectability, these people have the courage to remain maladjusted to what is unjust in society, even while injustice is "normal." This can be painful and these people are not superhuman: they are those who find it more painful to conform.

Many people have the potential to become this insightful and active: they need only act upon what is in their hearts. See also: Post Traumatic Capitalism Reaction
